Title: The Substance of Things Hoped For (29/29)
Rating: K
Author: jlrpuck
Pairing: Rose Tyler, Peter Carlisle
Disclaimer: Characters from Doctor Who and Blackpool are the property of BBC, and are used with the greatest of love and respect; but Ruby, Elias, and Lucy are all mine. No personal profit is intended from the writing or sharing of this story.
Summary: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. - Hebrews 11:1
Notes: Wow. I really have no idea where the summer went; back when I started posting in May, I thought it would take far, far longer than it seems to have.
So. Where to from here? Well, most immediately I plan to take a bit of a break from writing. That doesn’t mean I won’t be posting: I still have a few stories tucked away, written for last Spring’s Support Stacie auction, or for various ficathons. So those will be posted on Mondays (for one-shots) and Thursdays (for the few multi-chapter stories) up until I leave on vacation at the end of the month. I’ll be taking a proper hiatus while I’m off travelling (although it’s possible some of the usual suspects might post—hint hint!); and then upon my return mid-September, we’ll see where things stand (and how much I’ll owe folks for the next Support Stacie auction!).
Thanks to all of you for reading this and commenting. I’ve had a ball. And—of course—many, many thanks to both
earlgreytea68 and
chicklet73 for their beta work—and to
chicklet73 for her encouragement and advice as this was written.
